Dry Lining
The team at Rowland & Wyllie Ltd undertakes dry lining work in Nottingham and the surrounding areas of the East Midlands. Dry lining (also known as drywalling) is a method used for cladding the internal walls and ceilings of a property.
Dry Lining Services
Firstly, plasterboards are fitted to the internal faces of the building to provide a smooth and even surface throughout. Once installed, the plasterboards are either taped and jointed, or a skim coat of finishing plaster is applied (approximately 2-3 mm thick). After the skim coat of finishing plaster has dried, the plasterboards can be painted.
Attached directly to the internal walls using plaster adhesive or to metal or timber framework, dry lining is generally considered a more flexible and cost-effective plastering method, and can also be used for thermal insulation.
We supply dry lining services to commercial, trade and domestic customers in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas.
Based near Mansfield, we are within easy reach of Chesterfield, Derby, Lincoln, Newark and Nottingham.
